I can’t even begin to describe how much I’m loving this already! The Broadway geek inside of me fell unconscious on the floor from all that excitement.
It has nothing to do with Glee and thank God. Cannot wait for more.

Oh I got what you meant completely. I was referring to most of the comments out there exactly like you… I’m tired of seeing all those comments with Glee references when this has got absolutely nothing to do with it. As in, nothing. They wish it did. LOL I was exactly agreeing with what you said :D

I’m happy, actually, that someone shares my opinion :D Especially when it’s about references to Glee, which is very absurd, considering Glee isn’t the mother of all musicals/TV/TV musicals. I mean, it looked promising when it first started, but turned out into a freak version by the end that sells, together with the bland writing and one-dimensional characters and all.
But yes, you make a very fair point - Smash is much closer to A Chorus Line than anything.
